Make a DIY Solar Oven

Build a simple solar oven! – on a clear, sunny day you will be able to cook pasta or make tea. This workshop is the opportunity to build a solar oven from an estate agent’s board and aluminium foil. Participants should be a minium age of 14 unless signing up with an adult.

Decorate Kite Wings

An opportunity to decorate the three Camberwell Arts Festival delta kites. The kites are made from carbon fibre and huge wings are hand sewn from white sail material (ripstop) that you will decorate with sharpies. You will decide on how intricate or simple your decorated wings will be. Attendees will work in pairs.

The way you see Camberwell is going to be different from the way someone else sees Camberwell. And all our differences make Camberwell what it is. As part of the Art of the Party on Camberwell Green, Artist Kimbal Bumstead will lead a workshop exploring those personal experiences of the place we live in. It will involve fun and practical drawing exercises to bring out the personal stories, images and legends of the place.
