CAMBERWELL YOUTH FORUM

SPLASH

10.30–11pm
Where grime meets country and western – where boxing meets finger knitting – strange views of Camberwell through the creative eyes of young film makers who have worked with artists Karen Whiteread and Beverley Carpenter in different clubs and venues around SE5. These films map ideas and creative thoughts around the estates, roads, greens and buildings while weaving a pattern of diverse activity leading to a splash in the pool.
This film aims to inform the Camberwell Youth Forum, which is being set up by Oblique Arts in partnership with Camberwell Arts and The SE5 Forum to explore youth provision and what is missing for young people in their area. This Forum will give local young people a voice, fun interaction and inform peer leaders, local youth providers and council departments with young people’s ideas and aspirations for their services in their area.
