The Camberwell Wildlife and History of Early Immigration to Camberwell - Germans and Huguenots walks are part of the launch of the new Camberwell local area maps which include local shops, green spaces, local transport information and arts venues. The map encourages people to choose local options, ideally within walking or cycling distance. Copies of the map will be available from shops and venues
within Camberwell, and an interactive version of the map can be viewed at www.SE5forum.org or www.camberwellrenewal.org.uk from June 16.

Starting outside Peckham library, and finishing at Camberwell Green

Discover a local secret: a leafy footpath leading to a new park the
size of St James's and Green Park combined, with a lake enjoyed by
fish and waterfowl and a walled garden of plants from around the world.
Get to know your area and enjoy some light exercise as Eleanor Margolies
guides you through the wild side of Camberwell. We welcome those with
children and the route is also suitable for wheelchair users.
