As we enter 2017 we're preparing for the annual festival and wanted to invite you to be a part of it.
On Monday 30th January we have an informal open evening for everyone to come down and share any ideas for Camberwell in 2017. The evening will be an opportunity for local stakeholders to meet members of the management committee and the creative community, and learn ways they can collaborate on the 2017 festival and beyond.
Camberwell Arts is also looking to meet with artists who have ideas for proposals that they would like to see funded by grants and trusts in 2017. If you have an idea for a project that requires funding and meets the Camberwell Arts ethos, then we’d love to meet you and hear about it.
It is not necessary to have a fully formed idea at this stage but Artists should consider the following in their proposals:
· Funding amount
· The reach of their project
· Any community engagement they could arrange
· How they will market it and spread the word
· How they would monitor the success of the project
The board will then consider suitable ideas, and the artist will be paired with one of the fundraising team so that they can flesh out the details of the proposal and put forward a strong application under the Camberwell Arts banner.
The artist will work with the fundraiser on the application, and will be kept informed of the application’s progress. Should the application be successful for funding, the artist will then be expected to deliver on the idea within the timeframe of the guidelines.
The open evening takes place on Monday 30th January at Brewbird, 29 Peckham Road, SE5 8UA from 7-9pm. Book your free spot here.
