Camberwell Arts :workshop

Camberwell Arts :workshop produces an ongoing educational programme promoting the use of the arts in social inclusion and regeneration. We work in partnership with local estates, community organisations, youth groups and schools in the Camberwell area.

Camberwell Arts :workshop aims to:

• develop and promote an art education programme with and for all communities in the SE5 area
• raise the profile of the arts through workshops, networks and educational programmes by providing new opportunities and innovative learning programmes
• develop models of good practice in education and the arts
• promote the involvement of all SE5 residents in activities that take place during the annual Camberwell Arts Festival

We work with experienced artists with a background in participatory art practice. We respond to local government regeneration strategies, devise projects in partnership with artists and community groups, and commission artists to come up with innovative, unusual and engaging projects!
