Glebe Estate audiovisual project

From January to April 2007, young people from the Glebe worked with multimedia artist Harold Offeh, sound artist Iris Garrelfs and composer Emily Hall to create a film about life on the Glebe. Workshops were held every week on the Glebe and activities included mapping exercises, filming around the Glebe and the local area, recording sounds, interviewing local residents and editing the film and accompanying soundscape together at Southwark City Learning Centre. The final short film is an abstract visual collage of views and opinions about the area, with a fantastic Glebe-inspired soundtrack!

Camberwell Arts :workshop coordinated the project with support from Delroy and Latoya from Area 3 Youth Development Project and the Glebe T&RA.
