More about the artist

I create multi-disciplinary participatory art experiences and collaborations, informed by 25yrs as Director of Cool Tan (won 27 awards). My work is durational, exploring everyday themes through various angles/media to create playful, inquisitive art (sinks that talk, setting water on fire!). Experience making audio work began during academic studies (BA Hons/MA Fine Art) which informed Sound Moves, anthology of sound works by women artists (1988, Projects UK, Tate Archive). Exhibited via significant institutions (Hayward, Tate), grassroots forums (Mad Covid diaries/Survivors Poets, 2020) and public realm commissions (Southwark Council sculpture, 2011). 2019 Artist in Residence Sharp Gallery, London
