London Love Coat with Isabel Castro Young
The Love Coat is a large-scale textile sculpture created collaboratively and represents our shared social fabric. The piece grows through workshops, where every participant contributes to it through designing and painting a segment that reflects on identity and individuality, making an abstract self-portrait as textile design.
Together these designs build a communal public sculpture. During the Camberwell Arts Festival Isabel will be offering these workshops online and as soon as it is possible again as face-to-face activities.
