From art giveaways to group exhibitions, this year’s festival aims to be an arts free for all.
Designed to free your creativity, it offers everyone an opportunity to take part in the arts. Look out for public art installations created by local schoolchildren, try your hand at our interactive easels, and display your artwork at Alley Gallery.
Now in its 31st year, the Camberwell Arts Festival has grown out of and celebrates the vibrant artistic communities of Camberwell. It is developed as a partnership between local artists, residents and organisations and is co-ordinated by Camberwell Arts.

Everyone and their dog is invited to our free launch party. Make your own art at our family-friendly workshops, take part in a life-drawing class for all ages, bring your pet pooch to London’s artiest dog show, and join us for afternoon tea – all accompanied by the Camberwell Arts Market.

We have an incredible range of artists in Camberwell, working in every media from sculpture and ceramics to painting, photography and VR. Our annual open studios event takes place over both weekends of the festival and is your chance to visit local artists for free.
